The violations started small. I was 12, fairly tall with brand new boobs. My mother wouldn’t let me buy “real bras” for a long time. It didn’t occur to me that was weird until boys in my class started advising me to “stop wearing sports bras” because I was looking a…
This chick is nuts. This isn’t nearly as common as she makes it out to be. It sounds like every dude she has ever talked to harassed her, and her male friends apparently all abuse her. I’m gonna go out on a limb here and say unless you are so mind numbingly beautiful people can’t see straight this doesn’t happen in real life. Occasionally a goofy comment? Sure. But being held down by friends or groped by every guy in a class? Not so much. I appreciate that guys screw things up sometimes. I understand that some guys are just complete scum but you can’t just blame the majority of males so you can be more comfortable as a woman. I will never understand why chicks think that is alright.
fuck off out of my blog, you fucking numbskull.
If “chickenfoot” actually took the time to look through the reblogs and commentary, he would see testaments from women of all colours and religions and sexualities, testaments proving that OP speaks the sad truth. If he actually took the time to search for easily accessible rape and abuse statistics for women (one in three women will be raped or beated in their lives), he would see mathematical testaments proving that OP speaks the sad truth. With these personal anecdotes and mathematical facts readily available, I do not see how anyone can say, “This [sexual assault & abuse] isn’t nearly as common as she [OP] makes it out to be.” For it is plainly as common as has been presented here.
But it’s okay. I know facts aren’t in vogue, lately.
